Making Time for Yourself Is Important
Busy lives can make personal wellbeing feel like something we will attend to later. Yet constantly putting ourselves last can leave us feeling tired and overwhelmed.
Making time for yourself does not have to mean taking an entire day away from your responsibilities. It could be twenty minutes with a book, a peaceful cup of tea, music, prayer, reflection or time outdoors.
Rest is not wasted time. It gives us an opportunity to recharge and return to our responsibilities with greater clarity.
Sometimes, caring for ourselves begins simply by recognising that our needs matter too.
